Our charity helps fund research grants, FARF has funded 194 research grants at 56 institutions totaling over $16.5 million.

The frohnmayers
Dave Frohnmayer, President Emeritus of the University of Oregon, and his wife, Lynn, founded the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund in 1989 and work resolutely to facilitate advances in Fanconi anemia research.
The Frohnmayers lost their daughter Kirsten at age 24 and their daughter Katie at age 12 to FA. Their third daughter, Amy who is 26, has FA. The Frohnmayer’s two sons dot not have FA.
